Light Body Activation (LBA)

Light Body Activation (LBA) is a profound and simple energy based practice that activates the part of the human body that is neither purely physical nor purely spiritual. Some associate this practice as an activation of Kundalini energy, which it does to some degree, however it also activates a more subtle field of energy that’s already here, already present — past conceptual thoughts or ideas, in the field of emptiness and non-dual awareness.

During the session, you relax with your eyes closed while the energy is activated on various parts of the body. Some consider it to be a cathartic experience, and spontaneous movements can occur from the subtle to the more extreme.

You may enter restful, meditative states, experience emotional release, feel spontaneous laughter, crying, visual imagery, involuntary mudras (hand gestures), kriyas (energy-driven movements), deep relaxation or states of oneness. Despite these experiences, none of them actually matter — what does is the shifts that in can bring afterwards.

The activation itself can be seen as a catalyst, helping to clear through energetic blocks and heighten states of consciousness, however the real value comes with the integration, which can lead to a more conscious, peaceful, and expansive way of living.

Participants have reported having deep insights, strengthened intuition, shifts in perception, activation of the energy within, more clarity, feeling lighter and reduced stress, improved sleep and relaxation, and in some cases, the decrease or disappearance of addictions.

  • You still receive the benefits. It’s also not about the movements in a session, it’s often what can happen afterwards that counts.

  • Before: arrive with an empty stomach and make your last meal something light. Preferably no alcohol, cannabis or sleeping pills the night before.
    Afterwards: keep food intake healthy and avoid alcohol for at least 48hrs.
